Data Protection Information for Applicants

1. Who is responsible?

2. Data Collection

   You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide us with your personal data. All that is required for the application process is your personal details with contact information and a description of your education, work experience and skills.

   You can provide us with further data on a voluntary basis and thereby consent to the processing of this data in the subsequent application procedure. You can revoke this consent at any time. (See paragraph 6)

3. Use and Relay

   Your personal data will only be processed for purposes in connection with your interest in being employed with us and for processing your application. The data required for the establishment of the employment relationship is processed on the legal basis of § 26 I BDSG and all other data on the basis of a consent according to Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 a) DSGVO in connection with § 26 II BDSG. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

   If the application is successful, your data will be used according to § 26 I BDSG for the commencement of the employment relationship.

4. Storage

   Should we not be able to offer you an employment contract, the transmitted data will be kept for up to 6 months in order to answer questions in connection with the application and the refusal.

   If your application documents are of fundamental interest to us and no suitable employment opportunity is currently available, a possible data storage in the applicant pool to establish contact at a later point in time may be possible. Consent to this will be obtained separately.

5. Information, Deletion and Blocking

   You have the following rights vis-à-vis us regarding the data concerning you

   • right of access
   • right to rectification or deletion
   • right to limitation of processing
   • right to object to the processing
   • right to data portability.

   Please send requests of such nature to privacy@spreadshirt.net while stating your full name.

   You also have the right to complain to a data-protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. The supervisory authority responsible for us is:

6. Revocation

   Consent given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. The data concerned will then be deleted immediately or further processing will be blocked in the cases provided for by law. In this case, please send your revocation, stating your full name and e-mail address to privacy@spreadshirt.net.
