Ideally, your design meets the following requirements:

• Vector graphic in file format .svg or.ai
• Maximum file size: 10 MB
• Design is created without a background
• Maximum 3 colours
• Minimum line thickness of: 1,5 mm
• Minimum text height of 7 mm

By the way: We optimize your embroidery file completely free of charge. If you need more help or design support, contact our design service at a reasonable price

We want everyone to be able to put personalised designs on T-shirts and the like – regardless of the size of the order. That's why there is no minimum order value at Spreadshirt – not even for embroidery. If you order multiple items, you will automatically receive a volume discount.

Before embroidery, the file provided to us must will be checked first and then a so-called punch file created. Since this process may take a few days, we cannot 100% guarantee that your delivery will arrive quickly, unlike digital printing. This is why we only offer the Standard shipping method for embroidery products.

Yes, we offer fair return policy. If you are not 100% satisfied with your personalised embroidery product, you can return it within 30 days. Just contact our Service Team.

We have 19 colours to choose from as standard at Spreadshirt – how many you can use depends on your design. If you would like to have a motif (for example your company logo) embroidered in a different colour, please us via e-mail, phone or WhatsApp to our Service Team.

Yes, all personalised products are embroidered (on-demand) upon receipt of your order in Europe; either in our production facility in Legnica, Poland, or in Krupka, Czech Republic. Print-on-demand makes your embroidered products really sustainable.

At Spreadshirt the maximum dimension for embroidery designs is 209 mm x 209 mm. Of course, the maximum size also depends on the type of product: Only smaller designs fit on a cap, larger ones on T-shirts.

Embroidery looks especially nice when the design gets embroidered a little smaller. Our embroidery experts may contact you regarding the size of your embroidery design – either way, they want to get the most out of your embroidery.

Unlike printing, embroidery involves sewing real threads into the fabric. This makes embroidery a particularly durable and long-lasting type of refinement. Washing at high temperatures is also possible with embroidery. You can discover more advantages here.
