Silkscreen printing is one of our most popular print methods as it offers a combination of many positive characteristics. You can use it on most fabrics, and it reproduces saturated colours and a lot of detail on the printed design.

In computer-controlled production, the colours are sprayed onto the item. Digital-Direct Printing is Spreadshirt’s standard print method, as it is the favoured choice among most customers.

This special kind of flex printing is done by using special-effect foils, e.g. glitter or metallic.

- The design sticks out slightly but visibly, and it feels velvety-smooth
The design is cut out of a velvety foil and then heat-pressed onto the product.

The design is initially printed on transfer foil before it’s being put onto the product. This is done by means of thermal evaporation.

What is a bulk order? And why is there a minimum order quantity?
Bulk orders usually start from 250 products with identical prints (in shape and production). Seeing that larger orders involve relatively high fixed costs spread across a larger number of products, these make high-quality printing procedures such as silk-screen printing worthwhile. Orders with smaller quantities can be produced with digital direct printing, flex or flock printing and personalised with the Spreadshirt Customize Tool. How does the price come about?
Since many factors play a role in textile refinement, we will provide you with the best possible offer based on your individual wishes and requirements. As a rule of thumb, best prices can be achieved with white T-shirts and a monochrome prints.
Why is there no product catalogue?
Spreadshirt has a large and diverse network of suppliers, so that we’re able to provide you with (almost) any customisable article from all sorts of different areas. Just let us know about your wishes, and we’ll try to find the perfect item for you. Special batch productions are available for larger order quantities. Just contact us!
Which graphic format is required?
Ideally, you already have a vector graphics file of your design (.eps, .ai, .cdr) – then it can be printed right away. If not, our graphics team will be happy to prepare the print file for you. Images (.png) should have at least 300dpi, bitmaps at least 1200dpi. Good print data is a prerequisite for excellent prints! Please note: Not all designs can be printed with every print type. We’ll be happy to help you choose the right way to personalise your gear – just give us a call or send an email.
Which types of refinement do we offer you?
It depends entirely on your needs and an assessment on a case by case basis. In principle, we offer the following types for customised bulk orders:

How long does it take to produce my bulk order?
Usually, producing a bulk order takes about 10 working days (plus delivery). If you need your order sooner, please contact us – we will try everything to make it possible for you.
Where will it be delivered to? What are the costs for delivery?
Unless explicitly stated in the offer, we deliver worldwide and usually free of charge.
How does the payment work?
After the goods have been dispatched, you’ll receive an invoice from us via e-mail. Please pay by bank transfer. New customers are likely asked to pay in advance.
